Great thread, and great timing since I was planning on doing a cage for spring.
I have a 2010 GT3.

The OEM Clubsport bar will not allow the seat to go all the way back correct, I can't give up any leg room? I have the GT2 seats.

Shameless plug here. If someone is looking for a 996/997 bar I have a black GMG RSR bar that came out of my 2010 GT3. Won't fit the new one.

I have a set of GT2 seats in Suncoast boxes, New in box black GT3 Schroth harnesses, Black OEM clubsport roll bar and factory roll bar mounting plates. $10K u.s takes the combo. (Located in the canada.)

I also have GT2 buckets in my .1GT3RS and would sell/trade them for CGT buckets. (Car/seats are located in Florida.)

I have another P-car in the works and will be perfect for show n tell on my 10000 post

I had a RSS roll bar and Schroth 6 point harnesses installed. The RSS, GMG and the rest that I looked at that are made along the same lines are manufactured out of fairly light tubing. Most the hard core racers call them track jewelry. I installed it because I think it looks good and I wanted it to look like the European club sport package. It would offer some support in a rollover as the roof would have to compress as well as the roll bar, plus it gives you someplace to attach your six point.

Tarrett now has one almost identical to the RSS 931.

This is the first i heard of this, I would imagine it's not as thick as say TC Design or the Clubsport bar, but is it really that thin or flimsy? I have the GMG RSR bar myself. I do agree it's not as 'bulky' as other bars I've used in the past but I wouldn't go as far as considering it track jewelry. For the cost of these bars they better not be. My one concern is how it bolts to the stock seat mount bolt which as others have stated would put it in shear if you land on your roof.

So Im 6'1, and in my GT3 I have the GT2 seats. For my seating position I need the seat to go all the way back, I can't give up any leg room.

I have narrowed my choices down to the GMG RSR, LMS, or RSS 930 cages. Is one better then the other and if so, for what reason? Leaning towards the GMG ones, the diff between those is the extra cross bracing it seems.

Thanks in advance.

The GT2 bucket will go all the way back with a Clubsport bar.
However it will slightly touch the side of the seat when all the way back.

Don't know about the 930, but the 931 curves back behind the driver for much more room on the driver side.

you can do it or you can do it right.
as you know trackcar is really tall and his gt2 seats go all he way back no touching. roll bar installation is not easy. some just bolt them in meh. if you are good fabricator you can make a giraffe fit. tilt the bar. if your shop can't figure it out, find a new shop.
