Nice! Glad I'm not the only crazy person who will do something like this to save 14 pounds! I've heard there is a cup windshield wiper motor that saves 6 pounds!

Does anyone know what the standard rear glass weights (not the "thin" rs glass). I may have a line on a brand new lexan rear glass panel, but it would need to be a substantial saving to justify it.

So what else have you changed/deleted for your weight savings?

Not much else, other than racing buckets, rear muffler side bypass and gutted front trunk. Sold the car a while back, but picked up my old 996 gt3 so now I'm in the process again with that car! The 996 is already pretty slim (gt3 seats, pccb's, ccw c10's), and a full 997 gt3 exhaust with side bypass (and cup bumper) will be going on soon that should shed another 65 pounds).

I removed the tank and lines and washers in the bumper as well when I swapped on the cup fenders/flares/bumpers
