So my RS needs ANOTHER clutch and....
while I wait I gonna have a 458 Speciale to drive for 12 hours.
As peed off as I am I have to put another clutch in my car (37k km) and trust me - I drive me car good and not tracked since the first replacement clutch went in at 23k km - I am actually looking forward to getting it - I ordered the 4.0 rs kit and light weight fly wheel - reason I looking forward to it.... well, this clutch went only after 300km after its major service by porsche a month ago, so I decided to take it elsewhere and the guy going to do work is an excellent mechanic and worked on cup race team blah blah.... anyways, he even looked at the clutch slave cylinder and said it had been tampered with and some missing washers.... FFS Porsche Dubai, thanks! To be honest, the clutch has always felt weird from the off and poles apart from my friends RS 4.0 and mk1 RS..... So the reason I looking forward is I reckon I will finally have a clutch that works and feels properly in the cars ownership - BOOM! Only downer is I was gonna get parts from Alex at SW but the guy doing car needs my car out of workshop due to space ASAP so needed to get parts quickly.
While car being repaired tomorrow I am driving a Speciale ALL flipping day and can't wait. Waap waaarrp!
