Anyone had the ABS control module go bad?

If so, what are the symptoms of the module going bad, besides an ABS warning indication on the dash?

Without having one go bad,I'd say one of the symptoms has to be that your ABS is simply not working. So try braking hard and if you don't feel it kicking in,you'll know...
BTW,it's worth mentioning that just because your ABS light is on does not necessarily mean your ABS control module is bad,as a matter of fact it's most likely a wheel ABS sensor that it's bad.

from my experience I do not know of module failures outright, but I have heard of wheel sensors getting gummed up / clogged / etc - and that can cause issues as the computer isn't getting 'proper' feedback from the 4 sensors
take wheels off grab power washer and remove dirt / brake dust and then do some panic stops (quick hard slam of the brakes) - please make sure you are in safe area with plenty of runoff space etc
