MVP is at 50% so time is getting short. I know you CA wimps don't like to leave the state but it is only a 2 day tow to COTA at my slow *** pace of 65 to 70mph.

Peter, where would you stay 1/2 way point? El Paso? Google says 20 hours drive.

El Paso is fine. Just brush up on your Spanglish. If you are coming I have a Garage, really nice to have, and have 2 openings available. Easy to put 4 cars in one garage.

Spyerx, just get the car trailered out there via semi truck and then fly in to Austin.

Violet and I signed up 15 minutes ago!

Question, how do you go about getting a garage?

Screw driving for that long....I'm gonna do Arrive & Drive and just fly in to Austin. I'll keep the car out there and try to hit up some of the other Texas tracks in the Spring. Oh and I'm not worried about walls too much at COTA, I'll be driving smoothly and have the nannies on.

I just registered. Farmer - Would love to share a garage!

Will need to sort out the logistics later... may drive or arrange a truck with more CA crew.

I'm in.

update from mark.
Hi All:

We are 48 hours into your exclusive registration window and COTA is already ½ full. I hope you’ll join us February 27 – March 1, 2015 at COTA. For those of you who have already registered and paid, we will have official confirmation e-mails out in the coming weeks.

The $1,350 entry fee for all three days at COTA can only be completed with Pay Pal (you can use any major credit card through Pay Pal if you don’t already have a Pay Pal account) at the link below:
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...=JQ3XJ9LSZHJUN [Click link at left to access the Pay Pal entry fee for MVP at COTA]

Once you have completed the entry fee, head over to the “Registration Page” of MVP’s web site (link below) to register. You’ll need to scroll to the bottom of the page to complete the blue outlined box. Click on the “Event” drop-down menu and choose Circuit of The Americas February 27 – March 1, 2015.

http://www.mvptracktime.com/id47.html [Click link at left to access MVP Track Time “Registration Page”]

When we have allocated the registrations by run group, based on track experience, we will send out a group confirmation e-mail to each run group. We will once again have four (blue, green, yellow and red) run groups allowing us to schedule a minimum of two hours of track time each of the three days.

If you have any questions, grab the phone and call me at (314) 249-3770 or you can e-mail Feffman@MVPTrackTime.com. Happy Motoring and I hope to see you at COTA.

Mods need to merge these two threads...anyway there is going to be a Chin Motorsports DE there Jan 31-feb 1. Registration is not open yet. It's a very good organization to run with. I hope to make it to that one.

Isn't it going to be brutally cold in late Jan in Austin (like below freezing cold)? I don't handle extreme cold or heat well.
