Oh boy, that's pretty ugly for the Taxi driver.
Hits hard, only because the nose touched the guardrail so square on doe it not look worse.

We don't have nice taxis like that out here in So Cal...you'll either get a minivan or a Prius. That guy might want to stay off the ring for a while.

Don't think so. Sounds like he was hard on the throttle and the LR hit the bricks. Lots of videos show the ring taxi guys power sliding through that corner, showing off for the crowd on the hill at Brunnchen.

didn't have near enough counter steering locked in when the car started to massively rotate when the rear got light

he was likely 5mph faster than his usual and needed to anticipate the rotation and he didn't

even if he did he was likely going off - but maybe he could have saved the re-hook and snap across the track
