Funny, I hate the clock in my wife's GTS pepper. I don't see why it has to spin when you start the car. Why can't it just tell time with no gimmicks?

It works the same as the other 997 models. Supposedly changes PSM to allow more slip. It may also switch dynamic engine mounts to the stiffer setting? It does modify the throttle ramp to be more aggressive which actually helps me with heel-toe. The clock itself is useless. If I could stick an AiM solo to it, I would.

pretty sure it can't be done, at least in an OEM way... i had SC in my 2009 911 and it sat there as a lump on the dash never to be used for anything other than causing windshield reflections.

Its better integrated on the pepper, at least is serves a purpose, so now I have 3 clocks on the dash too: SC, instrument cluster, pcm. just in case I forget where to look for time.

If you have SC on a GT3 it doesn't do this stuff. Its just there as a timer thing. The sport button is what tweaks the map, open exhaust, and who knows what other minor things.

Do you get the sport button without SC? I didn't know that.

Was is possible to order dynamic engine mounts without SC? I believe my window sticker includes them as a combined option.
