Default RPW, Race Parts Warehouse, Eddie - Beware

Based on glowing recommendations on RL, late last year I ordered two sets of exhausts from Eddie. Fully paid.

To this date, after about 9 months and hundreds of documented promises, all I have are the broken promises. The few times I got him on the phone, Eddie had seemed to be a nice guy, and thus was given the benefit of the doubt.

I was very hesitant to make this post, but was concerned that other RLers would end up in the same situation I am in.

Do yourself a favour and just stay away from RPW.

Second that. Had a lot of difficulty with him on parts ordered. Missed dates. Wrong parts. No follow thru.

Buy from other vendors

Guys, I hope you get a resolution. This is the nightmare we all think about whenever you order anything from an "Unknown" source... We all do our best to mitigate the unknowns, but until that part arrives you always wonder.

Food for thought, having my own business. I generally run a search through the local STATE business license where seller operates to insure they are operating and confirm legitimacy etc. I guess it may still bite you but I have had no problem with any business operation registered with state, D&B. Obviously doesn't come into play with individual.

Anyways.. hope you get resolution. At a minimum you can dispute charge on CC.

Agreed, had it happen to me and had bought lots of stuff from Eddie with no issues before late last year. Sorry to hear your trouble... Any luck doing a credit card charge back?

I know this doesn't help the guys that are waiting for their parts, but which parts are you guys buying from RPW? Maybe I can source them.

I am open to a respectful, orderly, and organized process in coordination with other RLers to try to settle this with Eddie.

Should we start a new thread? Or should this be done privately?

United we stand I think. Perhaps a new thread looking for those to whom product or monies are owed is warranted

Until now he has relied heavily on all of us operating independently and thinking the best of him. The truth moreover is we just cant believe we have been conned.
