So, no need for pickup to tow trailex enclosed? Always wanted enclosed, but not willing to change out to a pickup truck.

Correct. I tow one with a Cayenne with no issues.

I just bought one. Great trailer. Carl Carbon at Trailex is an invaluable resource. And I met someone at the Clash at the Glen who downsized (sorry Mooty) from a full size trailer to a Trailex enclosed in order to reverse the natural accumulation of "essentials" his larger trailer caused.

Agree with everything you said about the enclosed Trailex. Have towed it more than 10,000 trouble free miles to various Parades trouble free behind our Cayenne. I agree also that Carl is a great guy and helped significantly when I bought my open 8045 that was later replaced with the enclosed Trailex.

No need for a pickup truck. At 2100#, you can put a GT3 and some goodies in the trailer and still be well within most SUV's tow capacity.

Aviator/Navigator
Mercedes ML
VW Tuareg
Cayenne
X5 V8
Audi Q7

etc etc

I just picked up my new enclosed Trailex last week and can only say that these things are a piece of art. The build quality is simply superb. Towing with my Cayenne - and you don't know it's even back there.

These are the "before" pictures. I'm starting to install tie downs and holders for all my racing stuff now. Options: 6" increased height, large front doors, tire rack, aluminum wheels and spare, front storage cabinet, electric winch
