Even a 991 RSR can fly:

As usual, the problem is the landing...

Hummm...Damptronics huh?...cool I feel better...I put B16 Damps on my GTS because I wanted to retain PASM as the car is a street and track car. Plus I could afford them. Everyone keeps telling how bad these shocks are but I like them so far.

nice!
What year(s) did you do Targa?
I ran as navigator for '04-'05, driver '06-'07 with my wife in our yellow/blue 914/6. (which we unfortunately went at little TOO airborne and flipped in '07)
One of the coolest events you could ever do.. we will be back one day...

Keeping the foot to the floor is a really good way to shatter an LSD, break a ring and pinion, or mow the teeth of the gear itself. I see these failures fairly often with the rally crowd. Most guys only make the mistake once.

And side axles.
Depends on the take off but some folks feather and some folks bounce the rev limiter. Depends on the terrain and air. If you completely let go of throttle you will nose dive the jump which is never good thus alot of pros keep it to the floor.
With no factory support, I feather
