I have a GMG roll bar installed in my 7.2; there is an intermittent creak from the roll bar that (and admittedly, I'm being persnikety) drives me bananas during non-track driving. Any ideas? WD-40 / tightening bolts?

Is it coming from the rear struts if the bar is attached to it? If so spray liberal amounts Of wd40 around it and see if it goes away. It's possible too that the rear strut hats are cracked which evidentally the cause of the creaking on mine. Mike

Funny I noticed a creak from my .2 rs as we'll which has a RSS cage attached to the struts. Its pretty damn annoying!!! Anyone know how to remove the rear parcel shelf to access the strut area??

^ just pull up on the shelf, it's there by gravity and friction.

I have found that the carpet around the bar squeaks when it rubs on it. Simple fix with a knife or even a small piece of cloth wrapped around the post.
