What is the best comparison to a race seat for this one? I am a XL sized race seat guy (height for the shoulder bars mostly)

6'1 195lbs size

Looking to buy a set and wanna make sure they are reasonably comfy and safe to run a HANS in too

PS - beers on me if you are local to SF and I can sit in your seat for 30 seconds with my helmet on

I'm in SF and had these seats in my car, but sold them recently to replace them with Recaro Profi XPG XL's. I'm 6'4" and not only were the shoulder pass-thrus too low, but my head also hit the roof with my helmet on (I have a 997.1 sunroof car).

I love the Profi SPG XL. Finally got it dialed in with Brey Krause 9044 floor mount and 9075 side mounts. Only took five years and three different seats to figure it out.

I have that recaro in my basement was in my last track car - it's only ok at best for driving leisurely in - where are your shoulders relative to the recaro hole openings (bottom top middle etc)?

I have a 997.2 sunroof car and was looking at the Profi SPG XL. The guy st the shop wasn't sure if they would fit in a streetable 997 that had the center console, OEM doors, etc. Did you have to make any other mods to yours to fit the Profi other than the B-K mounts you mentioned? Thanks in advance.
