Default Darn these Forgeline's are light!

I've got the GA1R wheels on my RS which were already light but these GT1 race wheels they have are even lighter.... This one came in for Shark-a-fied snack in the form of the new light-weight Forgeline GT1 centerlock wheels and the BaronRS+3 Uprights.

Lovely as she is a second set of wheels for these cars is always on the cards:

So off come the stockers:

The graphite finished Foregline 19 inch GT1's:

In front they only weigh in at 19.5 pounds each (stock is 23.96):

And in back only 21.5 pounds each (stock is 30.2):

The stock uprights which perfectly block any useful view from your rear view mirror:

And the BaronRS+3 Uprights:

And ready to go home for now a lot more sinister!

Don't really like those. Trying to be a bit 991. A bit like when someone puts '7 turbo wheels on a 996.

ETA, maybe its the colour, no contrast to the car's paintwork.

Thanks pal and you have to intro me to those guys you use.. people keep saying those wheels are bad *** too! In the text there the weights in front 19.5 and 21.5. Made in 'Murica too!

I would love to say yes because there's a really decent weight difference here but I'm just not that good. But I feel good

I definitely love the weights of those new wheels but am not a huge fan of the style. Granted, that's a very subjective issue as we all know. But light is right!

Love that RS...terrific color combination to say the least.

Rcvd a set of 18" GTD1s for track use. These were designed for 991 Gt Americas and machined to fit the street center locks.
Noticeable better turn in than other wheels used and excellent fitment with addl offset etc
Bead area is serrated and have seen -0- tire rotation in 4-5 days use...

I had GA1Rs on my GTS and have been trying to decided on another set of the same or the GT1s for the GT3. Either way I'll go with Midnight Silver for color.

Thanks for posting the photos.
