Default Coolant Maintenance

How often are people who track there car regularly (15-20 days/year at least) flushing/replacing their coolant? I heard we can leave it undone for lots of miles, even if tracking as long as we keep the level correct. I have also heard it is a tedious process. Any thoughts?

I personally do it every 1-2 years on any car I care about, not nearly important as an oil change, but does lubricate the waterpump and provide corrosion resistance to all metal parts.
Can be a real messy job on our cars.

I do it twice a year. At the start of track season, I flush and fill with Water Wetter. After track season is over, I flush again and run conventional antifreeze to be prepared for the New England winter.
