Agreed.
It's more a place to Winter than to retire.
If you can afford to not be in Florida from May through September you have no business being here unless you are in a pool, at a bar or in the AC. With hot chicks and a cold drink.
Some people are mosquito food as well but for some strange reason I am naturally Mosquito repelling, never been stung they don't even try. Maybe Mosquito's are teetotalers?

After moving to the west coast, I don't think I could move back east for the weather alone. Humid, muggy, bug filled summers I just can't tolerate anymore...
