Default 3.8 White GT3 available

I was at Porsche of San Antonio today and they still have a sharp looking white 3.8 (997.2) GT3 available. Car is low mileage no over revs and reasonable priced.

I bought my GT3 and other Porsches from them and they are a fair team to work with. Ask for Matt, Doug or Dale and they will treat you right

Dang! $124K is reasonably priced for a non-RS.

Nice looking car though.

Wow. 124k? Really? The market could not have gone this haywire just because of the 991.

I think it was building to this and then the 991GT3 issues. Thanks to the internet anyone considering a 991 GT3 that isn't a die hard Porshophile like us is going to find streams of negative commentary about recalled 991GT3s and Porsche's handling of the situation.

Combine that with 400+ US customers that can't drive their cars, who might choose a refund, and tons of effusive praise of the 997 GT3 and why not?

That and they are being held up as the last of a generation...and we can all see how nuts the 993 guys are about that sort of thing;-)

I don't think they want to sell it. It's been sitting there for a while and they didn't want to budge on price when I talked to them.

Apparently Porsche of Austin has a white/red 3.8 RS as well (no sport buckets); asking $160k.

You're right about the pricing going up. It's a bubble and will deflate as the 991's start shipping again. If the RS has a manual option, then the bubble will burst faster.

The folks in Austin seem nice and that car is a total queen. But for that money, I'd sit tight for a new one.

certainly price will drop over time, but if 991RS has manual, it will EASILY command 250000 and don't b surprised to see 100,000 premium on manual 991rs if they exist.

A quick update on the Rusnak car. They are asking $119,987 and the car is CPO. I've bought from them and they were great to work with. Ask for Dan Gibbs.

It's just a matter of time before this tiny bubble will burst. Reminds me so much of the modern markets with idiots buying one day, selling the next. Peas & Rice people can't you just wait? This "Motor Issue" will eventually sorts itself out and folks will forget about it.

Remember when people were paying the stupid premiums on the .2 RS's? Well VW told Porsche to make as many as they needed too on that one!

Since Porsche took the Turbo "Up Market" and started charging silly prices on that fully outfitted Turbo I wanted since I was a young one, I started looking at the 991 GT3. And even with the lift kit and other of some of the more expensive options I'm barely scraping $150K for a GT3 loaded. But some of you who would hear what I want to do to a GT3 I would buy instead of a new Turbo would Lynch me. But that's for another discussion.
