Indeed. Kind of. We don't know final sale price. But yes, valid point.
It's also worth noting that Silver is the rarest of the 997.1 GT3 RS colors (in the US, anyway). And, Orange is the most common.

Poetry bump :
so if u want the car, get it and drive the thing.
think Ice cream. if my five year old can't tell me what flavor he wants when we get to the counter, I order my flavor for him. if he whines, I eat his while he cries. we go home, I had my and his ice cream he gets a mouthful of tears.....
take ur pick, salty tears or sweet ice cream.
but I say just do it... eat all the ice cream and don't look bk

Being a rare early production car that has factory roll bar mounts, lightweight headlight option and CGT seats, yeah you could see $115k.
Not too shabby after 4 years
The previous owner went to a GTR...... Not sure if that kept it's value over 4 years...

each got plus and minus
they all bring smiles and that the bottom line
saving ten grand here there sometimes is necessary but u will lose out on smiles
discussion of value is valid but trying to predict mkt or save a few bux here there in the long run is fatal. I know bc I,did it all.
furthermore for those trying to time gt3 mkt.i have friendly advice. u will be far wealthier and happier if u time NYSE and NASDAQ

^ i prefer .2 over .1
for me, stock to stock there is NO comparison.
visually i like .2 better as well.
YMMV

The beauty of the .1 was that it could be had under 100k.
But it appears that time has come and gone...
Unless you can find an orange or green .1 for $105-110k, go straight to the .2RS for 130-140k.
the .2RS is the be all end all.
