Default Y'all like Carbon Fiber right? Whadda you think?

It's been a long long process but here we go... Just wanted to show you some icing on our 4.1 cake. Very late, very expensive and with the larger inlets and cones I'll have dyno stuff for you shortly-ish.

Finally!!!!!!!! Looking forward to the results and comparing to what we talked about. Any pictures of the inside of the airbox?

Looks great! I assume from the picture, the opening in the decklid was enlarged too?


A related thought, has anyone thought about creating a much larger air scoop piece?

Its been done for .1 cars that have the dual scoop. Champion did it, as well a a few others.

only suggestion is to use black bolts/rivets to blend in with cf more

when my RS is ready for a rebuild I think this would be a nice route to take.

I have used a similar for almost 1.5 years works well

Thanks pal and actually I have two different sets. Both stainless but ones in blanco too. Don't know I wanted to make it look more industrial but will try the black ones too

Correct we are using larger inlets. The big scoop idea would work on the gen1. The humps on the gen2 RS is massive

FWIW I'm guessing you can use bigger cones that go the whole width of the airbox.

Had you put this up sooner I wouldn't have bothered to deal with any other vendor on this stuff. Would've saved all the heartache in that other thread...

remove your decklid. install .2decklid with wring and add airbox.
