Yeah I can't quite match PvB though and his two _different_ shoes. Now that took dedication....

You bet there were man... He's seriously knows a lot about all things cars. I'd heard he was nice but in person he was as nice as any car guy you'd meet on a saturday for C&C. Generous, inquisitive... and his place beats any car museum I've been too. Best part it he gets in and fires them up too!

BTW...I'm lucky enough to have acquired SharkWerks 997 GT3 exhaust bypass #616 from our mutual friend Mooty, and want to get some SharkWerks decals to represent your brand better. I'll send sharkster a PM.
Nice one Steve! Hope you enjoy it and PM'd back at ya Let me know where to send those decals too!

He seemed to really like the fact it was manual, visceral and just a driver car. OK with a fun engine

Spankx you! And about the wardrobe we tried to out-do PvB and the two different shoes but it's been done so

It can yes... but in my mind the gen1 chassis/tire set up is better suited to the 3.9:P

Yea, ok.
I'm assuming my 6GT3 3.6 can also become 4.1, too? (Just planning ahead few years down the road )

Have you actually done any 3.6->4.1 conversions? So far, what's the most miles (track?) a car has done after a 4.1 conversion? Trying to get a sense of its robustness.

Congrats guys!

It's great to see Jay profile some of the tuners in the Porsche world. I've met him a couple times, and he is that car guy you'd meet at any event, very genuine, just a "regular" guy that loves cars, talking about them, building them, and DRIVING THEM.

Since i have the same tire size as 997.2RS and full aftermarket suspension can you meet me in the middle and do a 4.0L in my 997.1RS?

Congratulations guys. It was great to see Jay really enjoying the car. If I could have ordered one new, it would be in that combo for sure!

Yes we had a good looooong test drive and just chatted like the carnerd/chatterboxes that we are. It's a color that only the crazy like so you're on of us then

Cheers yes it is fun to see her get out and about. 2 years of just being under-cover was hard

Ah now you're talking... ok so there's still a few internal and auxillary part differences between the 3.6/3.8 as platforms but it makes me feel way more comfy doing it then

You're absolutely correct. He's the nicest car-enthusiast you'd likely meet at any cars and coffee on a saturday. Genuinely interested in all things cars, with lots of experience and very generous with his time and his enthusiasm just shows every single second he's close to a steering wheel. The stuff we saw there was off the charts and like you said they all run, fire up... I think with him having more time for his car passion it'll only be good for us gearheads eh?

Hah... with 295's that would be a REAL widow-maker!

We did 3.6-3.9/4.0 but not 4.1 yet no.

I fit 315's Nittos/Hoosiers + Motons + monoball. I'm sure it can take extra 100hp w/o problem.

Jay seems unfamiliar with the water-cooled cars, I guess he is more of an air-cooled guy. Or maybe he is just not into newer cars in general.

He's not a die hard porsche guy but amongst his favorite cars is the cgt and he has a four cam 356... He seemed to like it though and in a see of crazy cars I was amazed he knew so much in general
