Mobil Delvac 75w90 5 Gallon Pail Question
Hi Guys,
So I was researching the best fluid for the trans and diff in the GT3 RS for track use, and came to the conclusion from the knowledgeable Rennlisters that it would be Mobil Delvac 75W90.
I found this was always the image of the jug that came up:
HOWEVER< here in Canada, all the local Delvac distributors only carry a 5 gallon pail of the product of the same name:

I'm fairly confident that I've just bought the correct product, but in a much larger bulk quantity. Nonetheless, I wanted to confirm with you guys.
It's name is Mobil Delvac 75W90 Synthetic Gear Oil, which is exactly what appears on the smaller jug.
Please let me know if you guys think this is likely the correct product.
PS buying in bulk was significantly cheaper - 5 gallon pail was $171 CAD plus tax vs $44.75 USD for the 1 gallon jug plus shipping from the USA. Assuming this is the correct jug, I would recommend to buy it in bulk for a big saving in price!

Sounds correct to me and an excellent product. You know, you can do used oil analysis on gear oil, if you're into that.
