Default 997.2 Recalls/etc?

picking up a new to me 997.2 GT3 next week (been trying to make the deal work since late december!)

besides the one listed here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...ew-recall.html

are there any other recalls to look out for? my factory warranty went till: 07/31/13, vehicle had CPO till: 08/02/15 but since it's going thru a porsche dealer i feel the CPO will fall off...

curious if anything to look for/check out prior to my 1500 mile journey home with it after i get the keys and title.

If it is going through a dealer the CPO will terminated but you can buy an extension from them and it is a smart move for piece of mind.

Dealer should be able to tell you if campaigns AC-01 and WC-01 are applicable and have been performed. The first one is what you pointed out relating to CL wheels (you might get new CL nuts for it) and the latter is a more specific to certain MY10 & MY11 cars with loose resonator valves in the air distributor.

I'm not aware of any other factory-mandated campaign for .2 cars but open to being corrected. Good luck with your purchase!

Why not have the Porsche dealer re-certify and add a CPO? About 2k for the new CPO plus any items needed to get it up to CPO requirements.

it's coming from one dealer but getting brokered thru another.... i will more than likely have them re-do the CPO once i have it back home, but concerned about the long drive (1600 miles) i will do the first week.

The dealer can print out a full list of recalls and tell you what has been done. Then you can call Porsche to verify.

That is what I did and I found that the attached "intake recall" was not done yet.

Good luck.
