m5, if you stopped down lens, how come your field depth so shallow?

The depth of field on the noctilux (f0.95) is not even a centimeter when wide open. You could have one eye in focus and other blurred if the person you are shooting is not horizontally aligned and in symmetry. Very difficult lens to shoot wide open, but can be beautiful if I get lucky (don't actually have the photographic eye or talent).

have seen many amazing shots with that lens!
you get what you pay for i suppose.
i need to marry one of mooty's rich mail-order brides, or else i'm doomed.
