Default Anyone dealt with Metro Motor Cars?

Out of Minneapolis? Sold the turbo and they seem really good. Never hurts to check here though. They are doing an escrow/title deal with an attorney since I have title in hand. Any experience in the escrow deal?

Rog, congrats on finally selling the Turbo! By the way, why did you choose an escrow situation instead of the buyer's bank wiring you the funds directly?

Thanks Dell. Actually sold quickly when I relisted it on eBay. Prices are creeping up on these things too.

They choose the escrow method. I've never used it. Seems like a good way to do it though.

Interesting. I've never had a buyer choose anything other than just paying me with certified funds. I'm sure you've done all the research on it you can, but it goes without saying, be very careful. I would really vet the entire process, parties involved, funds, etc, so there is no chance to get burned. I've just read too many horror stories about used car transactions and escrow services. Hopefully there are more of the RL braintrust that can give you good input.

thanks brother. I will definitely check them out from top to bottom. So far they have excellent feedback on eBay. And the business is legitimate.

And by the way, my checkbook thanks you as the wife was constantly asking about your car as a replacement for her 996CAB.

Reviving an old thread. Metro is looking to buy my 430 Scud through the same method. How did you transaction go? Any other feedback? Everything seems legit but you never know in this day and age..

Thanks for the quick response! I wanted to double/triple check because their website doesn't have high end cars so it seemed odd that they are purchasing them and not posting them.

No problem. I think they have many affiliates that they deal with. My car went to a dealership in Florida.

Guys, thumbs up here for Metro Motorcars. I buy a number of cars from them - they mostly sell to other dealers. Never a bad transaction with them on my end.
