Side muffler delete pipes, function and price?

When I got my BBI Pipes they took me for a drive in a car that had them. Drone tolerance is something that is very individual. They were clear that all these side pipes with the stock center muffler have some resonance and that some of their customer don't even hear it, some it drives nuts.
My humble observations (weight and heat benefits aside) after having this for a few months, street and tiny bit of track, I have a sharkwerks pipe also that is not on the car right now that I also thoroughly enjoyed:
--Side delete is louder at lower RPMs than center delete
--At WOT at higher RPMs (over 6?) the shark pipe is louder. Basically the center delete due to the valves is a straight pipe where side delete still has the center muffler
--I like the sound in the canyons, around town, and on the track. My wife doesn't complain when she rides in the car. However she's also very tolerant!
--You can drive the center delete very quiet, the side delete is always be loud
--If you are on the highway in 6th gear at 65-70 you will get drone. At 3k rpm it goes away. Resonance is between 2600-2900 or so.
If you car is just street use, personally I'd get a center delete setup. That said, neither of these options is expensive, so you could just try and if you don't like it, sell it. The install is very easy for either option.

For a GT3 the Center muffler delete IMO is the way to go. It retains the use of the Sport functionality of the side mufflers (which almost acts as a Muffler bypass when engaged) and when it's on the car will essentially have no mufflers.

A lot of guys like to do the center muffler delete because it maintains functionality of the PSE/exhaust valve and gives you a quieter option when roaming around town. When you want it loud, you just press the button, just like with the factory center muffler.

The dual inlet style of the Fabspeeds were not enjoyable under drone.
The M&M side deletes are single inlet with block off plates therefore may sound better?

I have the M&M side deletes with stock muffler. Bit of drone in the 2500-3000 range at highway cruising but it's really not too bad and I don't do much highway cruising anyway. Otherwise the sound is fantastic, especially at higher RPMs.

I have the complete M&M system complete with headers, side delete and their center section.
No drone. Sweet music. Typically one of the loudest exhausts at the track, but it sounds really good.
If you have a drone at 2000-3000, just downshift.

our '07 GT3 we bought recently came with a Sharkwerks system, no side mufflers, just tubing from the cats' out the center tips. takes a lot of heat and wt off the rear of the car. It is their track version, and is really loud. Pops and crackles at deceleration, and under throttle and RPM it just shrieks. At a 700 rpm idle it sounds like it is at 3K RPM. If I see a police or HP car near me, I lay low and stay off the throttle and keep well away from them, to avoid a possible noise ticket. If you come or go early or late, you have to have understanding neighbors.
I finished a competition shoot yesterday, and when I was about to fire up and leave, about five younger shooters wanted to hear me start it, and after my car settled down at idle, one of them said just hearing it absolutely made his day.
I have a hearing deficit and tinnitus, so I wear ear plugs when I drive. I think a "drone" is more of a sense of vibration rather than just a fatiguing sound, and I don't really note much "drone" at all, but the sound smoothes out a bit over about 3K rpm cruise
I just love my Sharkwerks, but you have to be tolerant of all the attention (maybe sometimes disapproval) you will get. The sound is simply intoxicating, and I love it.
All the best...

PM me and I can send you via email some sound clips of my FabSpeed system.... You will hear it sounds great but the (relative) intensity of the sound will be hard to quantify... It's loud...
