Get a few parking tickets in CA over a period of time, and the jig is up. Tax evasion is not something to be taken lightly...

It's what a lot of people do here in NC. Buy a beach house at Myrtle Beach (or other SC vacation spot) and then register your cars in SC to the beach house. SC is dirt cheap compared to the much higher property taxes here in NC.

Yes - keeps me from buying and selling cars quickly
We do get a trade in credit unlike California but it is still painful
Shame I did not have a trade in...
Without sales tax I would be buying and selling more cars

Keep the Vantage
Riley,
I understand your desire to own a GT3 but I would not trade the Vantage for one. If you want more of an inexpensive track car with warranty, buy a Cayman R or S, have fun and you will pass many GT3's on track day if you have talent. The Vantage is the better road car than a GT3. Right now there is way too much speculation on GT3's. The 991's are arriving now so its not the time to overpay on a GT3.

Yeah, my mom told me that I'm nuts when she saw the RS. I blame Mooty.

Dell,
Edited my statement, by saying if you want an inexpensive track car with warranty, buy a Cayman R or S. No doubt the GT3 is the better track car, but the OP can have a lot of fun in a Cayman and keep the Vantage. (Had so much fun with my first outing with my Cayman that I put it into the guardrail at VIR!)

i have multi residences and everything setup.. i have florida license, live in ohio and business out of montana... you can't blanket someone as an evader just because they have whatever tag's on said vehicle.
the best state is South carolina, $300 maximum on used car.
