Estimate age is 1.5-2yrs.

Have no idea how to answer service life question and never heard it asked before. Personally, I've seen batteries last 10yrs if properly cared for and 1 month if not.

Looks like a really cool part, and ironically my RS came with one stock (since removed). I'm curious why you're moving away from using it?
