In my earlier post I forgot to attach a photo of the patented Pagid friction material retention system. This is why the friction material on a Pagid pad can't delaminate.

I've used PFC pads for 15 years and never had a problem.

Switched from Pagid and never looked back.

Superior performance, feedback, release, etc.

My 2 cents, YMMV.

PFC is still investigating. They say that the initial crack may have come from the pad being dropped or severe vibration. I installed them, and I know that I didn't drop it, and I never felt any significant vibration.

Once the initial crack formed, it propagated from water getting in it and boiling when the pad got hot.

They said they'd let me know when they conclude. I'll post when I hear anything more.
