Champion car has a lot more money invested than the asking price, not to say that all parts used are true RSR parts and a lot of fabrication like the front end with radiators, custom carbon fiber fabrication and also the time invested. Car took more than a year to be ready.
The blue car at that shop is a 997 R body style, with stock drivetrain.

C&D review

Car and Driver did a story on this car last year. If you look at the amount of detail and R&D that went into building this car, its an amazing build. Many of the parts were made just for the car in house! .... quite nuts but amazing nonetheless. If you read the tone of the project manager, they are selling it for cheap. I really wouldn't think that this would be worthless in a few year due to who actually built the car and I'm sure the owners would take proper care of such a one-of-a-kind machine....

That car has been for sale at least a year now, unless they "made" another one.

and folks here stopped running their 3.8L and 4.0L on the track in fear of damaging a street car.....

I can only imagine having an off with this car..... nothing on it exists in the parts department and would have to be hand made.

Still, i want it.....

If I'm not mistaken, I believe they did one. Maybe it was a 997.1 but I could be wrong.

still no takers on this beauty.

they keep dropping their price on ebay but nowhere near my budget.
If i had the money I would have this car.

It would make a bad *** daily driver and fun cheater for the odd track day.
