Succinctly put ;-)
you can't stress enough the reassurance aspect
cant say I noticed any issue with the factory callipers, although I dont have a lot of choice with 18" wheels as I dont believe Mov'It offer a caliper which would fit.
Just sitting in the car brings a smile, once the key is turned its going to be great day
there's bling and there's bling with function and these are definitely the latter
-Pete - I hope your right foot can wait til 2014, 2 cars, sounds like a ton of fun coming your way, well a lot less than a ton in one case!

I was answering questions about my use of Movits, so I thought I'd consolidate my answers here. Again, no affiliation, no strings, no shill, no kickback, just my opinion for what it's worth.
I have a week or three before my 991 GT3 order freezes. I've presently opted for the PCCBs because I'm tempted to try the factory 410's for the $9K gouge and get it back in resale value on the GT3 as it's a stepping stone to the RS in due course.
Movit is very much the exception that proves the "if it looks too good to be true" rule. I bought them as an early adopter in 2010 with the expectation that they could well turn out to be unsatisfactory, but I'm now happily surprised by the performance I've experienced.
If I learn anything new about the PCCBs on the 991, I will update my thinking, but for now, all I have is the common sense of saving the money and getting Movits to fit under 19's and run Hoosiers. I still have the 396/362 997 Movits, so it's an affordable update to the 991 fitment in approximately those sizes, which I know to fit neatly under OZ Racing 19's (which are a very nice, light track wheel.) Surely the factory steels, at 380mm, make it easy to employ spacers and fit appropriate thickness Movit friction disks. If Movit makes a rotor that fits under a 19" wheel.
Otherwise, I'm at a fork in the road: if I get the 380mm steels, I can run 19's and run Hoosiers. I don't know of any 20 inch track rubber to speak of. If I get PCCBs, I can run expensive Sport Cups or slow Super Sports, and rip them to shreds about every four track days. That's about $500 per day just for tires. Maybe the factory PCCBs will accommodate 19's. I really doubt it. Maybe there will be a speciality wheel from HRE, OZ Racing or a newcomer like Carbon Rev, that will perfectly fit the factory PCCB caliper position and wrap a 19" Hoosier. I doubt that, too. Even if a 19" wheel can be shoehorned around the PCCB caliper position, the road grit, gravel and tire marbles will destroy the paint on the back of the caliper an, in plain view, the paint on the wheel drum, which I find to be just plain not smart. So it's either 20 inch Hoosiers arrive, or I go to steels, or I relegate the PCCBs to pretty much a mediocre track car, which I think is true for the 991 GT3 anyway (sorry, I mean, it will be rocket fuel fast, but I think it's going to be a less than enthralling track car compared to the RS 3.8 ... I think I'm waiting for the 991 RS to really have a "next" 911 track car.)
Well, maybe I just talked myself into 380mm steels and get Movits that fit under 19's like the 997, which means not much more than 396 fronts (I doubt 410's will fit at all and the 991 caliper looks to have more size and bulk in the bridge than the old 997 front caliper.) So there it is: a definite "maybe, but I don't know."

Second, yes, everyone, everywhere has waxed pages on moments of inertia etc., but . . . . does anyone know of a simple summary or chart available any place that puts an actual number or numbers, either as a lap time or dyno measure of power at the wheels, quantifying the actual net effect of shaving 10+ lbs off each corner?
I know, for example, Carbon Revolution Wheels out of Australia made a set of their CF wheels available to Excellence for a June 2013 article in which Excellence to a, I believe, '07 GT3 to a dyno capture some with/without numbers for the @ 13.2 lbs per rear wheel the CF wheels saved over the OEM rims. Has Moveit, or any other Ceramic Brake rotor advocate got any similar information for their rotor package?

Yes they can be made in a slick version without holes.
Yes They can be made for Sprint and and Endurance Application.
