not clear what the appeal of the P1 is, other than being a more easily available second best option compared to LaFerrari. The P1 is heavier and has less power than the Ferrari offering. It also sounds blah with its twin turbo V8 compared to the naturally aspirated V12 (800bhp btw).

The 918 seems even worse as an offering at this level ..

based on the Leno videos the 918 sounds way better.
