C14's look even better, but john hates making them.

John @ ccw does hate to make them... I initially asked him to make c14... He says "I like c10.. I'm making them for u anodized... U get Titanium or blk.. These surface etching will be more durable than paint/powder coat. Trust me. I made **** load of them.." all kidding aside.. He is such a pleasure to talk to on the phone. Super stand up guy.

He was right... My damn wheels are unable to get nicked or scratched.. It is tough surface finish which I love.

The OZ Challenge looks like an affordable option. What widths and offsets were you running? Where did you buy them from?

8.5/12
I forget the offset.
I bought them from Damon at Tire Rack. He knows the offsets and is very helpful.
The Tire Rack site won't let you select the OZ Challenge wheels for your car. Not sure why. But Damon has fit them on other GT3s and they work on mine.

These are the OZ wheels from Tirerack.

If they do indeed fit over the 380mm ceramic disks(phone tirerack and ask for Damon), they are a great choice.

Front offset is et50
- stock is et53
- if you want to run a 255 hoosier with -2.5 camber, you can turn the struts, shim the LCAs and if you want run the rear spacer on the front or even better a 10mm spacer to get a et40 offset for the widest track possible
- as is they are perfect

Rear offset is et63
- this would be stock offset if you remove the 5mm spacer

997GT3north - very helpful, thank you!

Mooty, I am in the same repeat offender club with John. I run their 3 piece Classics on my old air cooled 911 race car and have had to replace the outer barrels a number of times. I love how they can still pull up my 10 year old paperwork to find the offsets for my custom wheels. And yes, they really do pull paperwork, they were made before they computerized the process.

Guys the OZ Challenge 9x18 et47 fits GT3 perfectly...no need for the skinny 8.5 et50 version.
I can even run the 9" et47 on my car!

i didn't send back to him. it's a beautiful lawn furniture. i got slicks up front, wheels in back yard. i am trying to hang up my 996gt3 tub in the living room by xmas. was going to make that into a bed for max. the roll cage would be great monkey bar for him.
