Default Interstate battery question- do I need a vent tube?

Battery for my .2RS is toast, and was going to replace it with an Interstate. I'm a bit confused about which battery is a direct drop in replacement. I know the MTP-91 will fit, but apparently it needs a vent kit (which my local Interstate dealers don't stock). I know other people have been using the MTP-48/H6, which apparently also just drops in, but it's not clear to me whether it also needs a vent kit or if the vent is in the same place as the OEM battery and will just plug in to the OEM vent. Can anybody confirm?

Thanks.

I ended up putting in an Interstate MTP-94R/H7. Higher capacity. It's slightly wider (as the battery sits in the car) than the OEM Moll battery, but the battery tray has multiple mounting holes for the supporting bracket and the next hole over fit perfectly to secure the battery. And the vent hole is in the right place. So install was a piece of cake. And now my car will start, which is an added bonus....
