Looks like Byers got ahold of the orange one that Graham Rahal owned at one time.

P.S. Byers: Lower the front lift and re-photograph if you want it to sell.

Sold for $280k is what I was told.
I fully expect the price on these cars to plummet once the 991 GT3RS hits the street and people figure out that the 4.0 was overpriced to begin with let alone sell for these premiums.

People were expecting this to happen with 3.8RS when 991 GT3 was coming out. Guess what ? Prices went up and still up.
Supply and demand.... 4.0 is unique and low numbers.
Look at GT2 RS, also up in price. 997.1 GT2 up in price from last year, and still a bargain.

991 isn't out yet dummy
People aren't going to dump their cars for one they can't buy yet. Give it 6 months.
Agreed on supply and demand. Porsche's new supply isn't here yet. Therefore demand is up. However, when the 991 supply of GT3/2/RS variants.. Hold on to your hats...
Chris Harris was practically jerking off while driving the 991 GT3 in latest review saying the 997 feels old in comparison.
