Default Ride height/spring perch question

My .1 has H&R springs, which I understand may have been original equipment on these cars. Or not?

While I like the look, the car sits lower than is practical for street use (see my avatar). I've owned some really low cars in the past and I realize that front lip scraping is normal for the GT3 but this one scrapes on the slightest incline so I would like to raise the car 20mm or thereabouts.

I haven't pulled a wheel to check but I'm guessing that a PO has cranked the spring perches down to the max to get the car as low as possible. My question is, in the event that is the case, how much can I expect to raise the car?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

20mm is a huge change in ride height. From your avatar, the car looks to be at factory ride height, at least from the view of rear wheel. It might change the handling of the car drastically if you raised 20mm.

Here's a better angle. Even a 10mm raise would be an improvement. I'll have it realigned and corner balanced after getting the height where I want it.

try a cup lip? it hangs lower, but they are much more flexible and will give a bit more than OEM one. I personally wouldn't raise the car at all, especially since its looks like you're at factory ride height.

Visually looks to be in the right ballpark but only way to know is to measure. This was just discussed in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...ght-specs.html

Just pay attention to your rake wherever you end up height-wise.
