What?
1:55 at VIR!!!
Impressive what a Turbo-OverBoosted-Winged-Stripped-TuckerSTO-Clone-Beetle can do.
DE Cup record still belongs to GT3DE (2:02) because street car.
Wanna911 should run the Ultimate Track Car Challenge, he can be among the top guys, and there is no limit on power, weight, etc, run what you brung. Magazine coverage, and some very nice sponsors.

That's 2:10 Sebring territory, using his 1:55 lap at VIR.
But it gets better, using his 1:26.3 at Road Atlanta, I estimated wanna911 could run 2:08 at Sebring.
The difference is that his Road Atlanta lap was done on good weather, and with more knowledge of the track, while VIR is on warmer weather and with room for improvement.
On cool weather, and more seat time, the Turbo-Winged-Stripped-Cheater-Beetle could run a high 1:53s to low 1:54s, and that translates to a Sebring lap of 2:08.

I use to collect sport cards. Dez White sounds familiar. Collected MLB/nfl/nba between 1986-2002. Gave up way too much product. Loved completing rare sets. Mike

Correct, I was still feeling out the gearing and in the wrong gear (4th) exiting snake and hog pen. Fixed on Sunday, picked up .4+ in each section, but hot temps, bad shock causing big saves and missed opportunities slowed me down. Planning on running stickers at Oktoberfast. Car is good for 53 if not 52. Driver on the other hand........
Pirelli slicks are da bomb! Can't wait to run them at Road Atlanta in December.
Running UTCC tomorrow, unsure if shock issue is fixed yet, so no stickers. Max Papis is here in some kind of kit car called a Wolf something. No beating that combo in street based cars.

Good Luck at UTCC tomorrow.
Max Papis is running a Wolf GB08, 1100 lbs SportRacer with 255Hp.
UTCC should have classes of some sort. In between Daytona Prototypes, SportRacers, NASCAR modified, the only thing missing is Indy and F1 cars.
videos! videos! videos!
