Default GT2 seat rake

Hey all, I've got GT2 CF seats in my 997.1 GT3. Need a bit more rake (lean back). Any ideas on the best way to achieve this? Some have suggested spacers in front btwn the seat side mounts and rails?

Thx,
Tim

I put 3 or so...forgot...washers in place. Trakcar and Jenk12M have the ideal spacer set up. They had some customer deal done at C2 Designs in Tampa.

Take it to Tony at TC Design. He did mine and I'm quite happy with it.

I used these seat brackets from Tarett to lower the seat, but given the amount of holes, you could also adjust rake.

Cool, that is close to me. I wish the bucket seats was a little higher, bout half an inch. Maybe he can do that?

That should work too, but pricey. Thanks.

Wow great find...being 6'5" I would love if the GT2 Sport Buckets would be a little lower and tilted back too. Any idea how much lower the seats went when you installed these?

I went to the middle holes and its about an inch to 3/4 inch lower vs the passenger seat. I am going to go to the lower height next week and see how it is. That looks to be almost another inch lower.

Great info...let me know how it goes.

You have to take the seat out of the car to make adjustments?...unbolt it and the risers from the floor?

Correct. While not that hard to do, you would not want to be doing it frequently.

Just make sure that the screws are sufficiently long. I have seen seats that "ripped" off due to the screws not being long enough.

Can you tell me what was done to the seat? I am interested to make some adjustments on the seat. Thanks
