Anyone done the rear hub/bearing replacement yet?

Not sure what happens with CL, but it's kind off hard not to torque the CL nut and drive off considering everything. But I've done stupid stuff too, so give me time and I'll probably do it!
Kudo's for doing it- what was your total cost?

So, everyone has just rolled over and accepted the porsche after the fact "rule" with no questions asked? You buy a car with an understanding of running costs, they then change that for you, without consultation and at your expense and you just accept it?
Im not trolling here, i have a major issue with this that i have taken up with Porsche directly and i am seriously interested in why people think this is an OK thing for them to do this. I truly understand that things will wear out but this early lifing of parts is entirely down to their marketing led c/l system, why should the customer pay that bill?

^ I understand what you are coming from.
To me, a $10K bill is a small price to pay for my car hobbies and for my own sense of security.
Not saying that there is anything wrong to protest their poor judgement, but I am not a complain kind of person. I have better things to do in my clinic. I can work hard to earn those money back.

Have you had any success with the issue?

What wheels are you thinking of? Remember to make sure it clears gen 2 caliper size - cant go by 997.1 non pccb size.

I'm in a holding pattern as they construct a response so no, not yet.
