While watching the 24h le mans race this weekend, I decided to put the 6 hours of caution time to good use and got to work on last year's Christmas gift: Megablocks GT3 RS.

My chief mechanic put in long hours to ensure timely execution.

 

I might convert to 5 lug. Don't want any loose wheels knocking over glasses etc. Looks cool though.

 

Kinda funny. I have that exact same kit... got it LAST xmas (not 2012), and finally did it a few months ago. I was missing the brake cover lenses, but, just went online for the company and they shipped one free in 1 week. (The bad news is, it seems if you mess up one of the 930 parts, once you want to put the top on you are SKA-RUED).

 

Did it with my 10 yo last year.

 

That's very cool, I might have to see if I can still get one for the desk.
