Default Halo versus in-seat airbags for daily driver/track car

I use my GT2 as a DD and for the track. I just put a deposit on Sparco's Ergo seat since it gives me halo protection on the track that I can remove for street driving. Did so after seeing video of a few too many side impact crashes and the side-to-side movement of the head. However, I didn't realize (or consider) that I will lose the airbag built into the GT2 seat until just now.

What do you guys think? Worth the tradeoff?

If you disable the federally crash tested thorax air bag in the seat designed for this car and replace with after market seat and get into a wreck on the street and you or your passenger get hurt your insurance company lawyers will have a fun time with you.

halos suck for city driving.
swaping seats before and after track days also sucks.

That's the value of this seat. The halo system bolts on/off so on the track you can use it, and on the street you can remove it. 4 bolts.
