I was told by my local Porsche deader that the Panamera could tow the same as the Cayenne, which is 7700lbs.

That is what I thought. I towed with my Touareg for a few years, no problem with an open trailer.

So is this a realistic tow vehicle? If it can tow 7700lbs like the Cayenne, it should be able to tow a Trailex enclosed ~ 4500-5000 lbs. What are the negatives? I would consider this over my Cayenne. Wheel base is probably similar.

Edmonds says a 2012 can tow 4850lbs. I looked quickly at porsches site, but didnt find any towing info.
