CHIN with rumble bee and Randy's new race car

Trakcar, you always kill me. I can't wait until I'm down in FL on a permanent basis. You guys are a bunch of fun.
Honestly, that brake point was the bravest/most optimistic thing I'd seen at Canada Corner in a long time... :P

Haha, I aim to please but often miss ;-)
I honestly dont conscientiously know any marks on the track.
I dont crash a lot so obviously I do know somehow, but I could not tell you.
Not scared = gas
Scared = brake
I've spend days at the track prior te getting in the car with a student and those first laps are the first time I see any marks LOL..
Video?

I was really diggin' the Blue Porsche. It really got me thinking about older 911s...
It looked and sounded great! The rumble bee was keeping it at bay however

First off.....the "Rumble Chicken" is on slicks.....im on R6. Biggest R6 they make in 16" is 275.....so car is tail happy
A few sessions later Mike puts Hoosiers on the 996.....now who is holding who up? Then in turn 17 the rumble chicken on slicks slides in on the inside and I have to play catch the antique LOL

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun..
Schlumphie sounds racey, too bad the vbox does not show what gear you are in.
You can tell Clarke was not there because all the cones are still at the apexes and track out...

Might as well throw my video in too.
Like I mentioned above, used Pirelli slicks I got on the web. Unknown heat cycles. Decent tread though. 65 on the durometer, so a little hard. Undersized fit. Totally stretched on the 12' rim despite being a 305. One inch smaller than comparable hoosier rear and a half inch smaller than comparable hoosier front. Would love to figure out what the proper fitment is and find a set of those. Used of course
Temp 88
Car is stock. Except for wing, LSD, exhaust, tune, lithium battery, and solid mount susp pieces, and shifter, and trailer hitch
Easily repeatable 218's all weekend along. Got a 217.8 at one point on my display, still looking for that one in the data.

Hoosiers were on because I got a flat on kuhmos which were spent anyway. Hoosiers were my brick spares cycled out. Just like the other 996 flt6 mike I never could better my kuhmos times with Hoosiers. Car was set up with kuhmos so perhaps Hoosiers need different setup. I have 2 sets of knock off slicks Pirelli which are about 2 sec faster than kuhmos. Taking rumble bee down at pboc.
By the way. tough day. I had a friend fly down from ny first time on track as my student in MY car. Was a blast.
