full leather, grey, red accents, SPP, and a few more... problem is try finding a cherry one anywhere near $120-130k.

Valued at what people will pay for it. I recently bought 11 RS whie/gold fully optioned with rollbar, CPO, 3k miles, sharkwerks bypass and some upgraded alcantara parts for 155k. Steep price, but car was CPO and excellent shape.

If you find what you want then you take it. The more common color option white/red and gray/red usually go for a bit less.

Others have paid similar for the ideal spec sub 5k mile prestine condition.

For some ideal spec will allow them to buy for $125 with more miles...
If you are lucky or not picky 125k is possible but if you have your mind set on a certain spec and condition you better move fast...

at that mileage, would pay 135-140 for it.

Good luck getting a low mile, cherry RS at $120k. The problem is there are dealers with customers lined up and they grab any low hanging fruit like that before most get access. Cars.com currently lists only two RS's, priced at $145k and $148k, and they both have 10k miles.

Then there's the knuckleheads like this selling their 4.0s for $250k+, which drags all the 3.8s up....

right on. but some ppl tend to believe a single tranaction = the norm = average.
with that in mind, i continue to buy power ball, i fingured soemone won before, i am next. it's only fair.

i know of two RL'ster who seeked high and low for cherry 3.8RS. let's just say both paid well over $140.

Nizer, what makes someone (especially a great guy like Peter) a "knucklehead" for pricing a 4.0 at current market levels?
