Jessi did well - he finished 3rd on Friday and Sunday - had some mechanical issues on saturday.

huh, this picture thread is over two years old? Nice to see such nice cars non the less. For those of you who have never been to the the Rolex 24, it is a fabulous event. The pit and garage action is great, both for viewing and photography. Interesting to watch the teams roll damaged cars back into the garages, and get right to work at trying to get them back out onto the track. Sometimes pandemonium as drivers argue, mechanics swear and sweat, saws and hammers come out, fluids drip from places they shouldn't. As a spectator you can get up close and personal with all of it. Then of course, there is the racing. If you have never been, and we have been going for the past 15 years, it is just an incredible event. If you come early on the morning of the start, they run the past vintage cars, and seeing Lola's, Ford GT40's, and Ferrari's scream around the track is just a time warp. The photography opportunities are endless.

I will see if can find a way to post some garage pictures in a few minutes.
