Default 997.1 GT3 RS - May have found the one - price check

Any opinions would be appreciated...

I've been looking for a .1 GT3RS, low options, lower miles. Found one not advertised (yet). Looking for thoughts on price, PPI not yet performed... so there are some unknowns yet.

Car is basically no-options except for white/black, 20k miles, had PCCBs converted to steel 380mm front (I think) by first owner, who ended up selling it and buying a track prepped .2 before he got a chance to track this one. No roll bar, has the regular sport seats, everything else is 100% stock. Current on maintenance, has all records, clean car fax, auto check, etc. Full inspection performed at last service and car is clean. Service records are clean. Warranty records are typical, look clean.

Car is super clean, inside, out, under, body, bumper scratch repair is only paint done and done very well.

Next step is tentative pricing discussion before PPI probably at GMG.

Thoughts on the price here? Owner thinks he wants 90k, but seems like these aren't moving right now at those levels, current listed inventory has been there a long time. Wholesale is probably around 70k, and loaded examples with lower miles are listed around 100k. Feels like an 80k car to me assuming it checks out clean? Am I off?

80k is cheap. As a seller I would want 85-90.

If it checks out, 85k is a steal on a .1 RS in White

He's got paint to sample going for him. I wouldn't take less then 90. RS market is slim

I think 85K would be a great price; 90K seems fair. In other words, I wouldn't feel bad if you paid 90K for it.

offer him 80k, go as high as 90k. It is worth it.

80K you stole it as a low mile white .1 nonRS (especially with CPO) would go for 80+. 85K you got a good deal. 90K is fair and then pushing higher than 90K makes the deal better for the seller. In the end, you pay what it is worth to you. Target selling price for this car is 85-95K.

85-90 is the market price depending on mileage and color and white is rare and attractive. As a comparison my 07 silver RS is for sale at a similar price and a few others too that I've seen on the web so I think the seller is realistic.

Putting aside my seller's bias I echo my fellow RS'ers and would say 85-90K is realistic and reiterate that these cars aren't readily available in the 80K range, even though buyers would like them to be.

Thanks for all the feedback, much appreciated! I'm not a low-baller, and believe a fair price needs to be fair for all.

And yes, as a buyer, I'd love to see these in the 70-80k range :-)

BTW, David A & azcarguy, I've seen both your cars. Both look great. Appreciate the sellers feedback!

Thanks for the compliment! BTW, I did the "Porsche Multi-point inspection report" at the Porsche dealer and I passed green everywhere including brakes. I'm getting my yearly oil change next week at Beverly Hills Porsche and the car detailed by hand at my house the next day. Good luck, I love white.

Aero, white was a standard factory color for the 3.6RS, just don't see many of them. I don't believe PTS was offered on this car at all, not until the 3.8RS was released.

white was offered, not PTS, but it was $4300 extra

standard I believe was orange, green, black, silver

If I owned that car coming into spring and summer with no RS around... I would wait for the $90K if I was not in a hurry to sell...
