Default Steering wheel recover >>

Sharing the results of my latest OCD with the help of Dallas Custom Steering Wheel. The original wheel was wrapped in leather and starting to show significant wear.

Don did a great job and the steering wheel is en route.

It's not a secret... All in all it'll run about $450 : $397 or thereabouts for the wheel, $30 for added padding if you'd like, $18 shipping.

They do fantastic work.

And you pay $50 extra for the center stripe, and $100 if you need to add the thumb rests, as I ordered yesterday, as my wheel was not "Sport". So all in, more like $575 for me. No charge for the colored thread. The one I just ordered is for my 09 Cayman S w/Triangle AB. Turn-around is about 4-5 days.

I ordered the thickest padding, what ever that is called. I like it for big hands, light grip on wheel.

This is the wheel I had recovered at Dallas about a year ago. I really like it.
