This is a great buy if you have no other investment in GT3 hardware. Ready to track, worlds best (and most expensive) brakes, cage, wheels and all the stock parts. Fantastic!!
Unfortunately for me I made the investment in my GT3, upgraded my trailer, and I have bought the parts to make my GT3 into 'mostly' an RS, otherwise I would have done this deal two months ago. 30K delta between my resell and the net price on this RS is a little much to absorb now.
Realistically here's how it pencils out:
Market price for stock RS with 5 K and similar options $125- 130K
Aftermarket "dump" price for brakes: 15K
Forgeline wheels "dump" price 3K
Install and cost for suspension upgrades: $4K (little aftermarket value, but you need this to track)
Dump price for exhaust 5K (guessing here)
Trailer mod (if this is your cup of tea) $1K
Total value for RS for someone planning to track easily $150- 155K- you are going to need to spend way more to replicate this. Sell the brakes when you get it (you have the stock ones with the deal) and you just pocketed 15K discount so you get everything else for free and a low mileage RS for 130K.
