4.0 RS Market
Apparently, 4.0s remain very strong. I am told that the blue PTS 4.0 in Houston just sold for $260,000. A unique example, but still a robust price.
I am not sure how many are available, but they seem pretty scarce lately. Maybe now that most of the flippers are gone, the next gen looks to be PDK with lots of gizmos, the fact that this car is truly the last and best of a particular breed (Mezger, manual, light, hydraulic steering) and there are enough people that just aren't going to let them go for any price, etc are all factors keeping the market firm.
