I just bought a 997 GT2 CPO from a dealer. I have only driven it 300 miles so far and notice the "Service Now" light comes on every time I start it up. The car was shipped from the Dealer in OH to NJ, so going back for them to reset it really isn't an option. I don't like my local dealer, so I looked into getting a Durametric but their website has a list of cars it works on, and the 997 GT2 is not included. It explicitly shows a 996 GT2, as well as 997 Turbos, 997 GT3's and even Carrera GT's. Is it just an omission? Has anyone used a Durametric to clear the "Service Now" indication on their 997 GT2?? What is it likely to be? Service what now????

It sure does work I can confirm that and you'll be able to get rid of that light.
