Post rear differential chatter when cold

Hello

Is it normal for the rear differential clutches to chatter when cold. My GT3 is almost at 12,000 miles. The noise seems to be getting louder and lasting longer than I have experienced before. Thanks for your insight

Is this the factory diff? When is it doing it? in turns or while driving straight?

No chatter from my factory diff, anywhere... even now that it's dead.

I get some chatter from the Guard unit in my Cayman R on hard turns.

I know of no diff that chatters when driven straight.
