That is my paint to sample GT Silver GT3 RS 3.8
I am a speculator, but in cars - I think there are easier ways to speculate. I bought the 3.8 RS because it was a unique pts GT Silver and I didn't think I could find a GT3 RS 4.0, and then a beautiful low mileage white one appeared last fall, so I bought that. Then I didn't think I would be able to find a blue 4.0, and then a Voodoo blue car pops up. So somehow I now own 3 997.2 GT3 RS cars. Do I think they are going to lose value? - maybe - or maybe not, but I will enjoy both looking at them and driving them in the meantime. I also own a Panamera, a Cayenne, and a 993 c4s - so maybe it's a sickness!
I looked a bit for a GT2 RS, but I love a high revving normally aspirated engine.

I am subscribed to the same "sickness", just a few less physical symptoms (i.e. vehicles) than you at the present time

As for speculation, I was wondering if you had expectations of higher highs.
I certainly agree, it's readily possible to profit from speculation on soybean oil or gold, both which will be higher prices over the next two years, just f'rinstance, but I'm not optimistic these 3.0 prices will hold over the next two years, so it's a luxury consumption indulgence to be adding an RS 4.0 to the "inventory." As ever, "you can't take it with you" and the chances of happening across another blue one would not even be once in a similar hue of moon.
