2? Your avatar is #510?
Hard to see but it looks like a 3.8RS.

Two sounds like speculation.
Are you speculating on higher prices for the RS 4.0?

So, may I assume the #510 is a GT2RS ? or perhaps another 4.0 as I think they made only 500 GT2RS?

If the wifey permits, my #3 Porsche would be a GT2RS....

I am a speculator, but in cars - I think there are easier ways to speculate. I bought the 3.8 RS because it was a unique pts GT Silver and I didn't think I could find a GT3 RS 4.0, and then a beautiful low mileage white one appeared last fall, so I bought that. Then I didn't think I would be able to find a blue 4.0, and then a Voodoo blue car pops up. So somehow I now own 3 997.2 GT3 RS cars. Do I think they are going to lose value? - maybe - or maybe not, but I will enjoy both looking at them and driving them in the meantime. I also own a Panamera, a Cayenne, and a 993 c4s - so maybe it's a sickness!

I looked a bit for a GT2 RS, but I love a high revving normally aspirated engine.

Redant, you seem very healthy to me.
DRPM, maybe 964RS, 993TT, 4.0, 991.2 GT2RS? You're half way there..

GT Silver with black wheels? That must look fantastic. More photos please.

And I agree with Trakcar, you seem perfectly healthy...

Agreed!

I am subscribed to the same "sickness", just a few less physical symptoms (i.e. vehicles) than you at the present time

I think you were wise to not pursue the 2RS.
As for speculation, I was wondering if you had expectations of higher highs.
I certainly agree, it's readily possible to profit from speculation on soybean oil or gold, both which will be higher prices over the next two years, just f'rinstance, but I'm not optimistic these 3.0 prices will hold over the next two years, so it's a luxury consumption indulgence to be adding an RS 4.0 to the "inventory." As ever, "you can't take it with you" and the chances of happening across another blue one would not even be once in a similar hue of moon.

You're the mad one for not moving to Florida and not buying an RS.
We're normal.

Even Tomorrowworld is coming to the SE USA.

I think the market on the 3.8 and 4.0 will stay strong until the 991RS comes out. I am so proud to be a part of this lunatic Porsche community.
